The votes were in, and Pyromancer won so that’s what I will be making the guide on! I also may be making some videos with other classes as well though. Let me know what you guys would like to see!
Check Out Part 1 Of the Pyromancer Walkthrough below! Will be adding more videos everyday so subcribe and check back often!
In this video I created a new character and made him a Pyromancer, and picked the Master key as my gift. I’ve picked that gift pretty much every time not sure if there is something else that is really good to get.
I go through the tutorial level really quickly, it’s super easy. Just be sure you don’t try and fight the boss when you first run in the room, be sure to run out the door on the left to go get your weapon and shield. Unless you really want to get the weapon the boss has! I believe it requires 50 str to use though, and isn’t all that impressive so I wouldn’t bother trying to get it.
I show you guys where you can get a firekeeper souls very early on with a quick suicide run so you start the game with +1 estus flask so they heal more each time. This comes in handy since in the game you have limited healing so it works really well having them heal more. There is another firekeeper soul you can get right away in blight town as well, I didn’t get that however in this video. I did in the Sorcerer’s starting guide video that I will be uploading withing the next day or two however. So be sure to check that one out! Leave any comments if you have any question or what you would like to see.
Also check out some more Video’s from EpicNameBro’s guide below
Hopefully you watched the last videos! We are back at the same bonfire we were at earlier in the Undead City. He starts out going back up the ladder he knocked down in the previous video where he got the flying dragon sword. Pretty funny when the skeleton just falls off the edge LOL. You should try and take out the rats from afar so you don’t get poisoned instantly. You should try and pull them out 1 by 1.
Once you go up the next ladder you are in an area you may have seen before if you saw any of the demo videos. The wild boar is up here. You can get a cool looking helmet from it, you just have to be sure to kill it by cutting off it’s head though. Epic didn’t get it because he killed it by backstabbing it. I’ve heard you run into this enemy later on as well, so if you miss it maybe you can get it later. Before you engage it though you should try and draw the skeletons out around him and take them out one at a time, as well as walk up the side and take out all the enemies above.
He finds an item that works like a Soul remains in Demon’s Souls and gets the boar’s attention, maybe you could manage to do a falling attack there even! But that might kill him so maybe you just want to go down and fight him and take him down by attacking his face so you get the helmet hopefully. Then go on to check out Epic’s next video on the Undead Church and the Tower Knight below.
This video is in the same area as the Dark Souls Demo as well. He shows you a good place to lure the Tower Knight out to fight him in a nice open area. After he beats the Tower Knight he finds a path back to the beginning of the game! In this next video on his Dark Souls Guide he finds a place to upgrade the Estus Flask! He also finds a blacksmith and does some soul farming.
Hope you guys are enjoying Epic’s Videos! He is getting a lot of subscribers pretty quickly
So Dark Souls has recently been released in Japan! It’s been out since September 22nd. Once I get the game I will be posting my Dark Souls Walkthrough videos and may be streaming as well! Until then I will find any videos I can and post them here! There are several people live streaming the game on justin.tv. Just go there and search for the game Dark Souls and you should find some.
So I found a guy on youtube ‘EpicNameBro’ that has been making Dark Souls Guide videos. He’s getting pretty popular! Check out his first video below. He didn’t record the tutorial level, so hopefully you can get through that one on your own! I believe this video is right after the tutorial level. He seems to have done a bit of leveling up as well as got a new weapon and healing spell before hand. He started as a Warrior which I don’t think they start with the Axe that he has anyways. He makes a comment about which guy drops it actually in the video.
He starts from the first bonfire at the fire link shrine and heads up to the Undead Castle town. There you will fight the Bullhead Boss. You’ll fight several skeletons that are along the way. These guys aren’t too difficult you can either block their attack, then kill them, or go for a riposte or backstab. Be sure to dodge that fireballs some of them throw! You’ll also notice in this game you get more souls when you riposte or backstab an enemy. He shows you one part after killing an archer skeleton to track back a bit and head toward a store over there. He says the guys with the shields are really annoying and gives some advice on beating them. In a later video of his he says he found the best way to kill them is just to keep attacking, after they block the first one the next ones will hit. Once you get to the store you can buy a bow and some arrows that are very useful and give you a ranged attacked.
Once you get to the first bonfire be careful when you walk back out as the enemies re-spawn after using a bonfire. Before you go across the bridge on the left you may want to take out the guys throwing the firebombs on the ledge above. Going through the level it is best to try and fight just 1 enemy at a time. You can do this by proceeding slowly or pulling enemies out with a ranged weapon works well. Once you get to the end of the level, you’ll see the fog door in the tower, enter once you are ready to fight the boss.
Dark Souls Guide – BOSS – Bull-headed Demon video below! Check it out for a very effective strategy for beating this Boss.
This Boss is Pretty easy if you use this technique. The first thing you want to do is go up the ladder and kill the enemy skeletons up there. It’s much easier to fight the boss if you take care of them first. After killing them climb back down the ladder and and run until the boss appears then run back to the ladder and you can go up and stand by the edge and perform a falling attack to do massive damage against him. This works VERY well. I saw several streamers struggling to beat this boss… they should of been doing it this way!
I’m liking EpicNameBro’s videos so far. Check out his next video here on the Flying Dragon Sword and subscribe to his channel for more updates! He has been adding some everyday so go and enjoy and subscribe for updates
I’ll be putting up more videos as they come out and my own once I get the U.S. Version of the game. Check back for updates
Machinima has received the second exclusive prologue trailer for Dark Souls that picks up where the first one left off. This trailer shows four lords that have been risen again and will most likely have to be fought.
Yesterday, Machinima posted up a new, exclusive trailer for Dark Souls. The trailer is the first part of a prologue to the game, where an old women describes a bit about what has happened to the world before the time the game takes place. Interesting. We’ll be posting the others parts of the prologue as they become available.
Last Wednesday Namco-Bandai released another Dark Souls trailer, this time to the song The Silent Comedy by Bartholomew. The trailer shows some more enemies, one of them being a huge wolf with a giant sword in it’s mouth… uh oh!
Check out this new game play footage from the Gamescom! The guy plays through the game giving a mini Dark Souls Walkthrough here for the demo version of Dark Souls. He plays as the Solaire of Astoara, which he says is a character made for the demo that is beefed up a little making it easier to get through the game. He still almost dies while fighting the enemies in the demo several times though. I liked the lightning bolt that he was able to throw at the enemy. I wonder if one of the character classes in the full Dark Souls game will be starting with that or not. Anyways you can view the video below of this Dark Souls Demo Walkthrough.
Gamescom 2011 is currently going on in Germany and a new Dark Soul’s trailer has been released! The trailer shows a few bosses that are sure to kick everyone’s ass, but that’s what we here at Dark Soul’s Walkthrough are here for! So, without further ado, here’s the new trailer via IGN:
Welcome to Dark Souls Walkthrough! As the game isn’t out yet, we will be posting any information we can find that has been released about the game. When the game is released however we will start our Dark Souls Walkthrough as we play through the game and even do a Dark Souls Walkthrough with Videos of us playing.
This game was first being developed under the name “Project Dark” and is a spiritual successor to the game Demon’s Souls that came out in 2009. It is an Rpg game that is being developed and published by From Software and Bandai Namco. It will be released on Ps3 and Xbox 360 on October 4th, 2011 in North America(Oct. 7th in EU, and Sept 15th in Japan). You can Pre-Order your copy here. They are doing something cool and selling the collector’s edition for the same price as the normal game. All you have to do it pre-order to get it. Grab it quick before they are all out!
The game will be a lot like Demon’s Souls and will be focused on exploring dungeons. You battle using various weapons and magic to survive. There will be online features similar to Demon’s Souls and be able to team up with, or battle other players, with many new features being added into this game. There will be more weapons, spells, and enemies in this game than were found in Demon’s Souls. They are also saying this game will be HARDER than Demon’s Souls, and that game was well known as being an extremely hard game. Below is a clip i found of the game’s demo being played at E3 last month. Not the greatest player but nice to see the game in action!
